Terms &
Conditions

Last updated: 8 September 2026

These terms apply when you book Sweep & Sell to clear a garage, shed, warehouse or any other space. Please read them before your job starts.

Who these terms are with

Your agreement is with Sweep&Sell, ABN 83 301 123 114, trading as Sweep & Sell.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes are free and come with no obligation. We quote a fixed price based on what you tell us and the photos you send, and that is the price you pay for the job as described.

The price can change only if the job turns out to be materially different from what you described — for example, considerably more material than shown, items we were not told about, or access that is not as described. If that happens we will tell you the revised price before we continue, and you can accept it or stop the job and pay only for work already done.

Quotes are valid for 30 days.

Booking, access and cancellation

You need to make sure we can get to the space on the day, including vehicle access and any keys, codes, lifts or permits. If we cannot access the site at the agreed time and you have not told us in advance, we may charge a call-out fee to cover the wasted trip.

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.

What we cannot take

By law we cannot remove certain materials. These include:

If we find any of these on site we will stop, leave the material where it is, and let you know. We can usually point you to someone licensed to handle it. Anything we cannot legally take is excluded from the quoted price.

Sorting your things before we start

Please go through the space and remove anything you want to keep before we arrive, and tell us clearly about anything valuable or sentimental. Once you have told us an area is clear to go, we will treat everything in it as approved for removal, and we cannot recover items after they have been disposed of, donated or recycled.

If we come across something that looks valuable or personal — documents, jewellery, cash, photographs — we will set it aside and check with you rather than removing it.

Where it goes

We sort what we remove into resale, donation, recycling and landfill, and we dispose of everything lawfully. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, ownership of items passes to us once they are loaded, and we may sell or donate them.

Photos of your job

We take before-and-after photos of every job and send them to you. We may also use photos of the space to show the standard of our work, including on this website and on social media. We never publish your name, your address or any image of a person. Tell us at any time if you would prefer we did not use your photos and we will not, or we will take them down.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the job unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept bank transfer, PayID, cash and EFTPOS.

Our responsibility to you

We will carry out the work with due care and skill. We take reasonable care of your property, and if we damage something through our negligence we will put it right.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where we are permitted to limit our liability, we limit it to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, for wear that comes from normally moving heavy items out of a space, or for items you instructed us to remove.

If something goes wrong

Tell us as soon as you can, on 0452 145 525 or at info.sweepnsell@gmail.com. We would much rather hear about a problem and fix it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your job is the one published when you booked.
