This policy explains what personal information Sweep & Sell collects when you use this website or book a job with us, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Who we are
Sweep & Sell is a garage, shed and warehouse clearing business operating across Melbourne, Victoria. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Sweep&Sell, ABN 83 301 123 114.

What we collect
When you request a quote
The quote form on this site asks for your name, mobile number, suburb, the type of job, roughly how full the space is, and any notes you choose to add. All of it is information you type yourself, and only the first four are required.
When you call or text us
We keep your phone number and whatever you tell us about the job, including any photos you send, so we can quote it and turn up at the right address.
When you book a job
We collect the job address, access details, and a record of the work and what was paid.
Photos of your job
We take before-and-after photos of every job. See "Job photos" below.
What we do not collect
This website has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no third-party cookies. We do not collect payment card details through this site.
How we use it
- To give you a price and answer your enquiry.
- To schedule and carry out the work.
- To send you before-and-after photos of your job.
- To invoice you and keep the business records the law requires us to keep.
- To follow up an enquiry you started but did not finish.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing to people who have not asked for it.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the services that make this site and our business work:
- Web3Forms — when you submit the quote form, your answers pass through Web3Forms, which forwards them to our email inbox. They process the message in order to deliver it.
- Netlify — this website is hosted by Netlify, which records standard server logs including IP addresses.
- Google Fonts — the site loads its typefaces from Google's font servers, so your browser contacts Google when the page opens and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
- Our accountant and, where required, government agencies — for tax and record-keeping.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia.
Job photos
We photograph each job before and after so you have a record of the work, and so we can show the standard of our work to future customers. We only publish photos of the space itself. We do not publish your name, address or any image of a person, and we will not publish a photo if you tell us not to — just say so when you book, or contact us any time afterwards and we will remove it.
Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no cookies. It stores one thing in your browser: whether you chose the light or dark version of the page, so it can remember your choice next time. That value never leaves your device and is not linked to you. You can clear it by clearing your browser's site data.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to 12 months. Records of completed jobs are kept for at least 5 years, because Australian tax law requires it.
Keeping it secure
This site is served over HTTPS. We limit access to enquiry and job records to the people who need it to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, but if a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us at info.sweepnsell@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time, normally 30 days.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first so we can try to fix it. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
